Passion for English gets results in class or 1-2-1

I've been tutoring and then teaching for over 25 years. I have some experience tutoring primary and 11 + and have taught KS3, 4 and A level. I have taught drama GCSE, A level Literature and Media Studies in school but I've only tutored English language and literature GCSE this far. I have had excellent success record with students in both areas. Pupils make rapid and sustained progress with me over short periods. I've been a teacher trainer working with newly qualified teachers and supprted the teaching and learning in my school for 5 years. I believe the best teachers show pupils where to look and don't just give answers so new skills are embedded and pupils develop independent thinking skills. This will prepare them for any paper they get on the day of the exam.
