Biology and chemistry tutor

Current medical student at Cardiff University. Excelled in my GCSEs and A Levels, achieving 9A* and A*AA respectively. Am able to coach students to enhance their learning and exam technique. I have experience teaching pupils 1-to-1 and helping them improve their knowledge and confidence.

There are 3 steps to succeeding in your subjects: Understanding, Memorisation and Exam Technique. Firstly, I will teach you the content, using diagrams and my whiteboard to aid your understanding. I will then test your knowledge many times by asking you to recall what we've just covered, which helps you to memorise faster. Finally, we will go through practice questions in order to fine-tune your exam technique.
I am familiar with the AQA, OCR, Edexcel (iGCSE only) and WJEC curricula, and so I will prepare plenty of resources for you before and after each session.
I have been a tutor for 2 years. The first year was at my University, where I was a mentor to students in the year below, delivering regular revision sessions. More recently (in the past year) I've been an online tutor to GCSE and A Level students. Both of these were online via Zoom.
