There are 3 steps to succeeding in your subjects: Understanding, Memorisation and Exam Technique. Firstly, I will teach you the content, using diagrams and my whiteboard to aid your understanding. I will then test your knowledge many times by asking you to recall what we've just covered, which helps you to memorise faster. Finally, we will go through practice questions in order to fine-tune your exam technique.

I use websites like "physics and maths tutor" and "save my exams" and I pick out the best diagrams to help my students learn visually. I find these websites have very simplistic and easy-to-understand notes. I then go through flashcards with the student to practice active recall. Finally, we do past paper questions. I ask the student questions throughout in order to test their knowledge and make them think.

I like using real life examples to help the student relate what they're learning to the world around them.
