When is Results Day 2024?

If you still want to go to university come September, UCAS clearing is a great option. On your results day, make sure you have logged into your UCAS account and have your clearing number on hand. What to do if You Didn't Get Your Target Grade

Not achieving your target grade can be disheartening, but it's crucial to approach the situation positively:

Evaluate Your Options

Assess alternative pathways, such as re-sitting exams, taking a gap year or contacting universities about filling clearing spaces. As we mentioned before, if you missed out on your university offer, and still want to be enrolled in a course come September, clearing is a great solution. 

Universities want to avoid having empty courses in September, so clearing is how they fill all their places. This year it’s taking place between  5 July – 21 October 2024. Clearing places will be available on the UCAS website.

Seek Guidance

Consult with teachers, career advisors, or mentors for guidance. They can provide valuable insights and help you navigate your options. Finding tutors who specialise in the areas you struggled with can also offer targeted support for improvement.
