Writing captivating prose is more like writing music.

I have been a college professor as well as a middle school teacher. I have conducted short screenwriting courses online and have individually taught and mentored beginning writers. I teach through metaphor, anecdote, and example. I also realize it should always be a teacher's job to make themselves ultimately irrelevant.
