Hello, I'm Ana. Teaching is both my passion and profession. Teaching helps me grow and develop as a person and a professional, so I love teaching in all shapes and forms!
I have two-decade-long experience in brick-and-mortar schools, where I have been teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. I've also been leading language clubs where students use English to express themselves creatively. As a brick-and-mortar teacher, I have prepared my students for language competitions, which helped them reach the highest level of the national championship and score solid results.
As for adult students, I gained experience in language centers that cater to adults only. There I helped beginners learn the basics and the advanced ones polish their language skills.
My online students have been students of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults of all levels and abilities. I taught General English, Business English, Phonics, IELTS Speaking, and Literature. I feel comfortable with various teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Adobe Connect, Skype, Baijia, ClassIn, E-Class, Go2Meeting, Vimbox) and class settings (1-on-1, 1-on-2, 1-on-4, 1-on-6, small and large groups).
I worked for many online language schools: Fluentbe, ABC360, Ginseng, iTutorGroup, Talk915, Vipteens, KKTalkee, Skyeng, Qkids, Hi MeTutor. In all of them, I was an English Teacher/Tutor, while in some of them, I also created curricula and designed lesson materials. I've been teaching Phonics, General English, Reading, Language Arts, and Literature. I also have experience in leading Speaking Clubs and Reading Classes.
A productive learning setting is one of the prerequisites of a successful class, so one of my goals is to help students feel welcome and accepted. I strive to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel motivated to experiment with the language and practice their speaking, not being afraid of making mistakes.
I put a lot of effort into building relationships of trust with my students. Trust is one of the cornerstones of teaching, and I do my best to earn it. Students have been buying years-long packages of classes and learning English with me all the time.
