Advert description
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a solid foundation in Physics and Mathematics, bolstered by an MSc in Optical Communications and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol. I aim to simplify complex concepts and make learning engaging, fostering curiosity and a deep understanding of the material. My lessons are aimed at primary and high school students who seek to strengthen their grasp on foundational math and science topics, as well as those who want to build problem-solving skills that can support them in their future studies.
During my undergraduate study, I obtained my teaching experience as a physics and maths tutor (supplementary instructor or teaching assistant) in a tutoring centre, where I taught high school students general topics in these subjects. I have experience in conducting classes for small groups of students, grading their tests, providing them feedback, preparing them for lab experiments, and monitoring their progress. Moreover, since 2023, I have been providing online instruction to my teenage nephew, who resides with his parents in Plaistow, London, through platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams, which has further refined my skills in one-on-one teaching.
