Qualified Teacher. Head of Languages, Tutor, Examiner AQA & Edexcel.

I am a fully qualified Teacher and GCSE Examiner for AQA and Edexcel French. I have proudly served as Head of Languages in secondary schools for nine years. With nearly 20 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about nurturing a love for languages in my students and getting them great results. I have also engaged in a lot of continuous professional development, which keeps me well-informed about the latest educational standards. I am trained in the new French GCSE curriculum (2025) and enjoy teaching students of all ages, from primary children to adults. I have successfully guided adults in learning French for various purposes, including business and relocation, adapting my approach to meet their individual needs. I also have extensive experience tutoring English at KS2, KS3 and for the 11+ exam. I have successfully helped children improve their skills and gain admission to competitive schools that require these assessments. I find inspiration in exploring new cultures, and I enjoy cooking, particularly French cuisine, which reflects my passion for the language and culture I teach.
