I approach teaching as an active learning experience, drawing on my own time as a student ambassador at university. My focus is on creating an engaging environment that uses vivid imagery and clear language to enhance understanding. Observing student responses is essential; I adapt my teaching methods based on their needs and feedback.
At the end of each session, I encourage students to summarize what they have learned and provide feedback on their learning experience. I emphasize the importance of past exam questions, as they significantly contributed to my own success in GCSEs and A-Levels. Consequently, I design sessions around common past questions and ensure that the language I use aligns with what examiners expect.
My teaching techniques are centered on the individual learning styles of my students. I believe in constant experimentation and dialogue, using past paper questions at the end of sessions to gauge which methods are most effective. My experience as a student ambassador allows me to communicate effectively with a diverse range of students, adapting my approach to their unique abilities and levels of understanding.
