Based on my background and experience, my teaching approach centres around making English accessible and engaging by breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. Having mastered English at a bilingual level from a young age, I’ve developed a toolkit of tips and tricks that simplify learning grammar, particularly sentence structure and tense use, which can be challenging for new learners. Ultimately, I aim to help students build a strong grammatical foundation and feel more confident in their language usage ability. In my college years, I expanded my skills by focusing on writing and communication, and I gained insights into techniques that are especially effective for language proficiency exams like IELTS and TOEFL. My approach here emphasizes practical methods for tackling exam-specific challenges, such as structuring answers effectively and managing time—which can help students approach these exams with clarity and confidence. Additionally, I’m completing a TEFL course to enhance my teaching skills formally, but I’m already confident in my ability to guide learners toward English proficiency. Whether a student is looking to gain everyday language skills or explore English at a deeper subject level, including literature and linguistics, my goal is to support them through a tailored approach that makes learning English both effective and enjoyable.
