Advert description
I obtained my PhD from Cardiff University, where I published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented both oral and poster presentations at international conferences. I have five years of teaching and tutorial experience across geology, but with specialities in structural and mapping geology, working with undergraduates at Cardiff University. My demonstrating and teaching experience included fieldwork, lectures, and practical classes, both face-to-face and online, where I taught at all university levels.
I am able to use initiative, and I am highly adaptable to new challenges, as shown throughout both my Master’s and PhD projects. During this time, I have not only gained practical skills but also organisational and project management skills, ensuring that I manage my time efficiently to meet deadlines. As president of the Cardiff Chapter of the Society of Economic Geologists I organised talks and lectures from professionals in the geology industry and academia.
