A journalist for more than 45 years, I really enjoy seeing people get comfortable, even excited about speaking and writing English. Helping people who are nervous about understanding and being understood to become comfortable and confident in what might be their second or third language is very fulfilling. Most of all, it can be a lot of fun — for pupil and tutor!
