I am a journalist working on national broadsheet newspapers, with an English BA Honours degree.

I will ascertain the interests and learning goals of my tutee and then take them thriugh a series of conversational exchanges, aimed at increasing their confidence and trust in me. Using refkective practice in action, i will deduce weak areas in their suite of discussion skills and I will model more effective opening phrases, use of geammatical syntax and phatic phrases. I will set them vocabulary-learning tasks for homework and suggest useful dramas and news progeammes to view, in order to improve their pronunciation.
