Advert description
I am looking for private one-to-one online tuition. My engaging learner centered approach to teaching emphasises hands-on experiments, critical thinking, and real-world applications of scientific concepts, which have consistently resulted in high student engagement and academic success.

I am a qualified biology teacher with an up to date classroom knowledge. I have taught biology and other science subjects including mathematics to key stage 3 and key stage 4 pupils respectively in secondary schools in United Kingdom. I can confidently say that as a result of my constant teaching as a supply teacher to secodnary schools in the United Kingdom, I am equipped with the skills and competences needed to effectively teach biology curriculum from key stage 3 to key stage 4. Presently, I teach BTEC level applied sciences in Hull. I plan my lessons to accommodate for both low and high ability pupils and to differentiate between them while using the classroom technologies and at the same time, keeping students engaged with activities. As a biology teacher, I encourage intellectual curiosity, constructive pedagogic discourse and collaborative approaches to learning in my lessons to enable pupils thrive. Those I believe would make pupils learn and equally keep the students under control to prevent classroom disruption(s). I strongly believe that a good lesson plan must include the following components to make it effective. These are: Lesson topic, class objectives, key words, procedures, time management, students activities and evaluation. However, it all depends on the methodology adopted as evaluation can take place at different stages not necessarily at the end of the lesson. Consequently, see my self as a facilitator in the classroom, thus, allowing pupils to freely interact with resources and take full responsibility of their learning. Those I strongly presume will make pupils thrive by thinking positively.
