Advert description
I am a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background, leadership experience, and a passion for helping students succeed. Currently studying for my LLB (Bachelor of Laws) at the University of Hull, I have gained extensive knowledge in various areas of law, including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights Law, and International Trade Law. My studies also include a dissertation on The Challenges Facing Constitutionalism in Ghana Today Under the 1992 Constitution, which allows me to offer in-depth insights into complex legal issues.
Before pursuing law, I completed my secondary education in Ghana with a focus on General Science, developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills that are essential for both legal studies and tutoring. My foundation in science has helped me approach learning in a structured and logical manner, which I apply when teaching students.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have been actively involved in leadership roles, such as co-founding and serving as Vice-President of the Pan-African Society at Hull, and as Head of the Disciplinary Committee of the Students Representative Council at Kaaf University College. These roles have honed my communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, which I use to create a positive and engaging learning environment for my students.
My tutoring approach is personalized and adaptive, focused on understanding each student’s unique learning needs. I am patient and empathetic, providing clear explanations and practical examples to help students grasp complex concepts. Whether assisting with legal studies, academic writing, or research skills, I aim to foster independent learning, critical thinking, and confidence.
In addition to tutoring law, I have a strong ability to teach English, particularly academic writing and research. My experience as a reviewer for the International Journal of Advanced Research in Education and Research further enhances my ability to guide students in improving their writing and critical analysis.
Ultimately, my goal is to empower students by making challenging material more accessible and by helping them develop the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
