Using my own experience of learning French and Spanish as a second language as a native English speaker, I understand the challenges and intricacies of second language learning, as well as the format and mark schemes for GCSE and A Level examinations. Thanks to my recent experience with these exams (in both French and Spanish), students respond really well to my teaching. I am very friendly and experienced working with apprehensive students; I work with everyone ranging from those struggling to get to grips with their language skills, to those looking to get that extra boost to achieve the very highest grades.

Through a combination of written and spoken exercises and practice tailored to the individual needs of each student, I am able to provide personalised teaching to help them reach the best of their ability, whether that be in their formal exams or more generally. I discuss the student’s challenges and targets with them, and record their improvements regularly, creating personalised adaptable lesson plans based on the student’s progress as the weeks go by. Parents receive a week by week report following each session to keep everyone involved in the student’s progress.
