Hi! My name's Mary and I am studying Mathematics at the University of York, aiming to help you achieve your full potential

Mathematics fascinated me from a young age, and I aim to share my enthusiasm for the subject with my students, helping students to engage and grow their confidence in their own ability. I understand that students learn differently and my lessons are adapted to each student and what they hope to achieve in their exams. We will practise different exam techniques and problem solving approaches which we can then apply to exam questions. I have tutored previously and completed a summer teaching internship in maths this year. I am also taking a Mathematics in Education module within my degree.
