Guitar Tutor providing lessons for all ages & abilities

I like to personalise my lessons to each individual student. The guitar is an incredibly versatile instrument. I want to help you achieve your own personal goals on the guitar, whether that be to become a singer songwriter or to learn your favourite guitar solos. I have a first class degree in Music Education and am currently studying an MA in Music Composition. I am confident no matter what your goals are I can assist in your learning.

I like to start lessons with a quick warm up that practices transferable skills no matter your goals, moving on to your own personal goals whether that be learning a song of your choice, learning some new exciting chords to play along with or learning scales to solo with. Finally I like to end sessions with some reflection on what we've learned and an idea of what we'd like to learn next time. I find this keeps the knowledge fresh in our minds and gives us a direction in our journey of learning the guitar!
