I have taught English to children between the ages of 4 to 10. Teaching focused on grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence/story buiding and reading.

Initially, I would assess the child's strengths as well as where they need to build their skills. Taking this into consideration, I then try to approach my lessons by providing a more comprehensive learning experience for the child, where I use materials to enhance the child's reading, writing and oral communicative skills. This allows for the child to become more confident in their knowledge base and learning.
