Maths Specialism
My deep-rooted passion for teaching mathematics has been a defining aspect of my career, ignit-ed by my training with mathematics consultants from PDC, Lewisham. Throughout my years in ed-ucation, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to making mathematics an interactive, engaging, and highly relatable subject for students.
I firmly believe that mathematics, often considered abstract and challenging, should be demysti-fied and presented in a way that resonates with students on a practical, real-world level. To achieve this, I employ a diverse range of teaching strategies, with a particular emphasis on hands-on activities and the integration of real-life examples wherever possible. This approach not only enhances students' understanding but also fosters a sense of curiosity and confidence when deal-ing with mathematical concepts.
My innate ability lies in simplifying complex mathematical problems, effectively bringing numbers and geometric shapes to life. By doing so, I empower learners to approach mathematical challeng-es fearlessly and without hesitation. Mathematics has the potential to be a daunting and disheart-ening subject when presented in an abstract, lifeless, or passive manner. Such an approach can negatively impact students' confidence and, ultimately, hinder their pursuit of higher education and future career opportunities.
Under my guidance, students have consistently responded positively to my teaching style and techniques. Once students grasp the logic behind mathematical problems, they are equipped to apply their problem-solving strategies independently, providing clear explanations for their calcu-lations and reasoning. My extensive experience teaching mathematics across Year 1 to Year 8 has afforded me a wealth of teaching strategies that I confidently apply to facilitate significant pro-gress in students' mathematical proficiency.
In conclusion, my dedication to making mathematics enjoyable and accessible for students has shaped my career as an educator. I am firmly committed to transforming mathematics from an intimidating subject into an exciting and empowering field of study. My ultimate goal is to equip students with the mathematical skills and confidence necessary for academic success and a life-long appreciation of the subject.

Computing Teacher
Teaching computer science has been a consistent and rewarding facet of my educational journey, spanning over 15 years within primary schools across London. My dedication to this field extends beyond conventional teaching, encompassing a comprehensive approach that covers ICT (Infor-mation and Communication Technology), computing skills, and digital literacy.
During my tenure at St. Saviours Primary School, I undertook the pivotal role of ICT coordinator, where I played a pivotal role in the establishment of a state-of-the-art ICT suite. This endeavour included the development of a new ICT curriculum and policy, aligning technology education with evolving industry standards. In addition to coordinating, I actively monitored and supported fellow educators tasked with teaching ICT. I also initiated and delivered in-house training sessions (CPD/INSET) to enhance the quality of ICT instruction, particularly emphasizing the effective utilization of Promethean Interactive Whiteboard technology and resources sourced from Prome-thean Planet.
My role as an IT teacher encompassed the entire spectrum of the primary school, from reception to Year 6. Within this capacity, I meticulously designed the IT curriculum, ensuring its alignment with educational objectives while staying attuned to technological advancements. My teaching ap-proach emphasized the importance of a wide array of software applications and resources, creat-ing cross-curricular links wherever possible. This approach not only empowered students with basic coding skills and algorithmic thinking but also equipped them with proficiency in tools like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I further extended the curriculum to encompass more advanced programming languages, including SCRATCH, Lego Mindstorms, and Kudo, among others.
Beyond the confines of the classroom, I assumed the responsibility of maintaining and upgrading hardware and software infrastructure. My management of these resources was characterized by fiscal prudence, ensuring optimal utilization of budgets while delivering a seamless technological experience for both students and staff. I also undertook the task of training fellow educators in the effective utilization of Target Tracker for online assessments in reading, spelling, and math-ematics, fostering a cohesive and technologically-integrated teaching approach.
As a testament to my passion for the subject, I have developed a unique skill set, allowing me to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues swiftly, thereby mitigating disruptions to the teaching and learning process. This ability to address technical challenges independently has consistently added value to my role as an educator.
My commitment to enhancing the teaching and learning of computer science extends to the broader school community. I actively engaged in fostering and nurturing home-school relation-ships, working collaboratively with parents, guardians, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to student care, well-being, and educational support. My motivation lies in promoting a positive and stimulating learning environment where every student is encouraged to ask questions, explore digital landscapes, and harness the power of technology to enhance their educational journey.
In conclusion, my extensive experience in computer science education, coupled with my dedication to staying abreast of technological advancements, positions me as a well-rounded computer teach-er. I am eager to leverage my expertise in promoting a technologically integrated curriculum and fostering a spirit of digital curiosity among students, ultimately equipping them with essential skills for the modern world.

Mr Sayedul has been teaching our children for last 5 years. He has established really positive and effective learning environment for the kids and they love studying with him. He is very helpful, providing range of practice materials and also engaging parents providing constructive feedback and development plan for the kids. Lessons are also well-structured and Mr Sayedul also has extensive experience on schools / options and have advised us on all aspects. He successfully led my older son to a renowned private school and is working with the younger one now. Highly recommended!

Methodical and effective Mr. Chowdhury tutored my eldest through her 11+ exams and she passed with flying colours to the secondary school of her choice. He’s now tutoring my younger daughters since September and I find that they’ve already grown in confide particularly in maths which was an area of concern. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a tutor to support children with their lessons or to prepare them for secondary school exams,
