Qualified, Experienced and Excellent Tutor of Maths and Physics

I am a qualified maths and science (physics specialist) teacher who started teaching in 2000 I have considerable experience of teaching and assessing school-age students and adult learners in colleges and the workplace. I am able to visit students in the West Midlands area. I am an expert in GCSE, A-Level and IB preparation for Maths and Physics. I have tutored over 500 students over the past 20 years with a very good success rate and have taught students from various schools including state and independent schools. My students always enjoy their lessons as I have great communication skills. I am very passionate about maths and physics and think that I would be an excellent tutor. I am a very patient and friendly person and will do my absolute upmost to ensure that each individual reaches their maximal potential. I am available after 5 pm during the week, and any time during the weekends.

Following on from the closure of UK schools on 20 March 2020 due to Covid-19, I resorted to online private tuition. I am a Mathematics and Physics teacher and tutor with more than 20 years experience. I have taught in a variety of schools such as comprehensive, private, grammar as well international schools. As a private tutor I have many success stories to my name with several going on to study Medicine, Dentistry just to mention a few. I took up online tuition when the need arose due to the national lockdown. I generally use Zoom for my virtual lessons as it has many capabilities such as screen sharing. I use my home “office” for my virtual lessons which has a whiteboard for interaction and example purposes. I am able to offer online lessons from Key stage 2 through to Key stage 5 in Mathematics and Science (Physics being my specialism). I also offer support to under graduates in Mathematics and Physics. I would like to offer my services to anyone who requires help to improve their confidence, subject knowledge and exam technique.
