I am an experienced Piano Tutor with a Grade 8 in Piano. I currently teach private lessons to pupils in their own homes. I have received very good feedback from the parents and my students are making very good progress. I encourage my pupils to practice between lessons as this way they will definitely progress. I like to get to know my students and this way I can get to understand how I need to teach them as every student is different. I usually work using the ABRSM syllabus but also use the Trinity syllabus. We always have some fun in our lessons and I ask students to choose a piece they enjoy and this way I can ensure they will always enjoy their lessons. I think it is very important to do 10 minutes of sight reading in every lesson and the same applies to scales and arpeggios. My students are currently working their way through their exams. I have 18 years experience in running my own childminding business so I am very experienced in working with children.
