I am energetic, experienced Piano tutor and I currently give private lessons to students in their own homes. I have a Grade 8 in piano and have been playing since the age of 7. My youngest student is 6 and my eldest is 12, however, I am willing to teach any age range. I believe my students should enjoy their lessons as well as learn whilst doing so. My lessons include scales and arpeggios (Grade appropriate), sight reading, theory, exam pieces that we are working on and then a fun piece of their choice. I encourage my students to practice for 15 minutes a day and explain that that way we can progress at each lesson. The majority of them do! I currently work for Guildford Music School after school hours and I would like to add more lessons into my day during school hours. I have had excellent feedback from parents regarding my teaching.
