Qualified teacher with 20 years of teaching experience, Essex based

After getting the Spanish equivalent of a BA with Hons. in English studies, I came to the UK as a language assistant in 2006. Then, I went on to become a qualified secondary school teacher here. Since then, I have been working in different types of schools such as Comprehensive, Sixth Form colleges and Grammar schools. In 2019 I left mainstream teaching and became a private tutor teaching kids and adults alike. I am well-acquainted with the GCSE and A-level Spanish exams, both AQA and EDEXCEL. I currently work as a GCSE examiner for one of the leading exam boards. My experience ranges from absolute beginners to advanced students. I like being flexible depending on what my students needs are. I hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check.

Please note that the price stated here is for adults. I can provide individual prices for GCSE and A-level exams and younger ages at your request. If you think you can find another student of a similar level, I also offer different prices for small groups 2 to 6 people. In person tutoring is only available in the area of Witham, Essex with an additional fee to cover petrol expenses. My evening slots are usually pretty full but I do have some day time availability. Just ask! :)
