PhD Student and Ancient Historian looking to tutor students of all ages on any aspect of the Classical World

I am a dynamic, experienced and highly motivated academic and educator, currently completing my PhD in Classics through the University of Reading. I am looking to work with students of all ages, either towards school-level or university-level qualifications, or indeed those just looking to expand their knowledge of and appreciation for ancient history. As an experienced school tutor and librarian, I am happy to assist with the writing of essays, dissertations, NEAs and EPQs, as well as any aspect of the research process. My broad interests include literature, mythology and folklore, the history and development of ideas and technologies, cultural anthropology, religion and worldviews, and critical thinking, and these would be aspects of my tutoring that I would be happy to incorporate into tutoring sessions. I am also an avid sports fan (esp. of rugby and endurance events) and a competent chess player. J.R.R. Tolkien remains one of my biggest academic and creative influences.
