I have a detailed understanding of all levels of biology- from GSCE to a Bachelor´s degree; and my studies have been conducted in both German and English. I can ensure a high-quality teaching experience through my own knowledge and prior tutoring experience at both college and university levels. An individual approach to each student is vital. I would begin by letting the student explain what they want out of the sessions, which subjects they want to cover, and where they believe their strengths and weaknesses lie within the subject. It is important to determine which type of learner they are- visual, auditory or practical- to devise the most suitable strategy to support them on their learning journey. Finding the best way to learn is a process, and therefore, I value active student input, patience and honest feedback in teaching.
