My lessons usually consist of a fun 10 minute starter which could be a game, quiz or review of a previous lesson. Then I would introduce the topic for the day and encourage the student to be involved in the lesson as much as possible. I often use technology to assist understanding. At the end of the lesson, there would be a short re-cap of the work covered that day.
