English for foreign students - General English, Business English, Exam preparation: B1, B2, C1, C2, Trinity College Exams

I offer one-to-one tuition and all lessons are prepared on an individual basis.
Lessons are online via Zoom or Teams and documents are shared by me and can be downloaded by the student.
Lessons consist of either speaking, listening or reading tasks, (writing tasks are usually done as homework). The course follows the objectives of the student and their main goals. Teaching methodology is a mix of task-based learning, student or tutor-led learning using online materials, past exam papers or authentic materials which focus on current day-to day topics and situations.
Lessons are lively with a strong emphasis on enjoyment and a feeling of achievement by the student. Students can choose to go at their own pace and lessons are usually 1 hour or 1.5 hours. If a student has a deadline to reach for an examination, then input is quite intense with the student needing to work at home to achieve the given targets. However, for those who wish to improve their English for pleasure, there is no pressure to work outside the lessons - the main thing is enjoyment and progress.
