Experienced multi-instrumentalist tutor for all ages specializing in ks 1 and 2

I am an experienced music tutor, educator, and mentor, with several years of tutoring piano 1-1 and running workshops for musicians new to jazz.

With a focus and background in Jazz piano and saxophone, my pedagogical approach focuses on creating a confident musician, able to interact musically with others. This creates a more enjoyable learning environment. Whereas my classical training also allows me to guide those through the early stages of the graded syllabus.

After graduating with a Bsc in Mathematics from the university of st Andrews i found a passion in primary education, gaining employment as a learning support assistant working 1-1 with SEND (06/2022-current) in a local school. This experience allows me to tailor my syllabus and approach to a younger, developing musician and enables me to employ strategies that can help SEND students become lifelong musicians.

I also hold an enhanced DBS and am on the update system.
