No two lessons are the same! I adapt all my lessons to suit the individual. Firstly, I find out the student’s goals and then together we outline a plan on how to achieve them. I am skilled at delivering lessons both online and in-person and have taught both 1:1 and groups of children and adults. I make my lessons as fun and as engaging as possible, making use of different media (songs, videos, recipes, games) to aid my teaching. I teach grammar and spelling in an accessible way, making sure to help students learn according to their learning style- be it visual, auditory or kinaesthetic. I approach speaking in a non-judgemental, encouraging way, knowing that it can be difficult to gain courage to speak in another language. I encourage creativity in all aspects of language learning and invite students to use art, poems, video- whichever medium will help them learn in the most effective way.
