Primary Tutor KS1 and KS2 All Primary Subjects

I am a Primary teacher with nine years’ experience. I have worked across Key Stage 1 and 2, and have experience preparing for SATs and Phonics examinations. I have also worked in U.K. schools, and British International schools, so have worked with a wide range of students. I take a calm and positive approach with my students, and believe in making lessons as engaging and individualised as possible. I enjoy working with all ages, and have a good knowledge of the curriculum at all levels. I am always keen to challenge my pupils, and push them in order for them to achieve more than they think they are capable of. I enjoy developing a growth mindset in pupils, and think that praise and encouragement is key in helping to develop children’s confidence.

I am proficient in teaching across all primary subjects, and can tailor lessons to children’s specific needs. I am happy to work with children on their core, or non-core subjects, and can help the students I work with to develop confidence in their own strengths and abilities. I am very flexible, so can adapt teaching as we go, based on the needs of the students I work with.
