Hello 你好! My name is Ka Yee, and I’m an experienced and qualified Mandarin teacher with over a decade of teaching and translation experience. Passionate about language learning and teaching, I am the author of Bilingual and Trilingual Parenting 101: A Practical Handbook for Multilingual Families (available on Amazon), a practical guide for parents who wish to raise multilingual children.

All my lessons are tailored to the learner’s individual needs and learning style – no two learners are the same!

My teaching style is friendly and engaging. I use a combination of textbooks, multimedia resources (e.g. YouTube videos) and real-life materials (e.g. news articles), depending on the learner’s level and preferences. Unless a learner is looking for conversational practice only, I will always set after-class assignments to help consolidate what’s been learned.

I can also help you prepare for HSK exams, or help your child prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams.
