I have completed four years of undergraduate study in History and Archaeology at University College Dublin and a further year of postgraduate study at Maynooth University having completed the MA in European History. As part of this MA programme, I completed a 20,000 word thesis which analysed the experience of First World War veterans in Co. Waterford (Ireland) during the interwar period. My particular areas of of interest are military history and the socio-political history of 20th century Ireland. However, I have also studied a number of different European and international historical topics. With my five years of experience studying history at university level and my unwavering passion for the study of history, I offer private lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
