Hi all. My name is Arek, but you can call me Eric. I've been tutoring for 11 years and I've lived in the UK for 17. My lessons are focused on conversation and a wide spectrum of subjects. The reason for that is twofold. To teach you not only English but to familiarize you with British customs, culture, and history. Secondly, I think in this day and age, grammar can and should be studied outside the classroom. One or two hours a week with a teacher just won't do it. I see this in the same way as students who choose to do part-time study at the university. With Internet at the reach of your hand, you can easily learn what tenses are about, but what I have noticed is that talking is the main problem with students. This is why I focus on that. Of course, I am here to help, and I'm not going to refuse help in any way. I offer guidance, and I'm prepared to answer any question you may have, but you need to be prepared to put in some of your private time to learn the language. Especially if you don't live in an English-speaking country. Believe me, I'm talking from the experience. For my lessons I try to prepare all kinds of topics and texts on different subjects in order to expand your vocabulary, but for speaking lessons I would like you to tell me what YOU would like to talk about.
Why don't you get in touch to discuss your needs, and we'll take it from there? I'm looking forward to hear from you. Have a nice day!
