A native English speaker with experience in mentoring/teaching relating to English. A mature student in the final year

I am a mature third year student expected to gain a first-class degree in English and Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. I have studied both English Language and Literature in the past and am highly knowledgeable in the subjects. I have experience in mentoring and teaching workshops in English and poetry alongside an educational charity and was a scout leader which granted me skills that are highly beneficial to tutoring. Such as patience and approachably as well as skills in clear communication, organisation and guidance. As a result I have a passion for teaching and for the English language as a whole. I think due to my experience and temperament I would excel as a private tutor.
