Advert description
I'm Nuno, from Porto, Portugal, and I currently live in Cornwall, England. I've been a teacher for 7 years now, I've taught English in different countries like Portugal, Spain and Turkey, and I've also taught Portuguese to adults while here in the UK. Besides English and Portuguese, I can also speak Spanish and Turkish, and I really understand the difficulties people from different countries can have while trying to learn a language like Portuguese (*cough* word gender *cough*).
If you're not sure whether you should try to learn a new language, especially one like Portuguese, let me just say this: the great thing about being fluent in different languages is the fact that you're able to express yourself in many more ways! And I don't mean that "Oh I can speak 4 languages, I can talk to people from those countries"; I'm talking about how you feel and how you can convey these feelings in better ways through different languages. Portuguese has got words that can convey certain feelings better than English, and so does Turkish actually! And so do many other languages in the world. Before you know it, you'll be using these expressions naturally, just because they "sound" better for the situation.
