Online Contemporary Art Tutor- Part Time

I am a secondary arts teacher with a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Diploma of Fine Arts. I have the expertise and patience to help you develop your knowledge about all forms of art.

First thing's first: I want to get to know about your skills, the best way you learn and retain information, and what you want to improve on. I am very adaptable, and will tailor sessions to suit your skills and needs. Contemporary art not only requires memorization of dates and key points, but a deeper understanding of the issues during the time period that affect the artist and their work. Through conversations, worksheets, knowledge organizers, artistic application and videos, I will guide you through artwork from the late 20th and early 21st century. We will study a diverse range of artists, such as Kehinde Wiley, Ai Weiwei, and Jo Spence, to name a few. It's important that we cover artists that have different abilities and backgrounds so you get a holistic view of contemporary art.
