Summer School Programme: Studying the Social Sciences for Critical Thinking

I have a Bachelor of Social Sciences, Criminology, and two Masters degrees; a Master of Intelligence (Criminology, Policy and Geopolitics) and a Master of Teaching (Secondary). I have been a high school teacher since March 2022, after previously working in the Australian federal public service as an Investigator.
I have devised an extracurricular programme, set to work with students online for 1-3 hours per week. The programme is largely dialogical and is aimed at fostering critical thinking, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
The flexible programme can be differentiated for learning needs, abilities and ages. This flexibility means I am happy working with older primary school-aged students.
Further to this, there is room to focus on supporting home-learning topics or areas of social development that you as a parent/guardian have been working on with your child.
