I listen and learn what the pupil would like to achieve. Together, we we will focus on strengths and areas that require additional work, whether that's via training courses, extra tutorial or work experience. Providing guidance with finding different types of research, such as primary or secondary resources. Establishing what type of learning suits the pupil best, e.g. Visual learning, and from there recommend methods and revision options that may be suitable for them. It's important to build a safe space for each pupil and allow them the space to share their concerns or worries whilst effectively guiding them towards finding their own solutions and coping mechanisms.
