Lessons Like:
Before giving, the proper lesson for my students I will give them an English Level Test to gauge their exact level appropriately. Upon discussing the test result like part he/she is good at and things need to improve, I'm going to plot the lesson would be like e.g. Grammar, Speaking and Pronunciation.
Format to use: Skype or Zoom
Lesson Content:
> Brief Introduction about the lesson or give supplementary lesson would take 5 minutes such as "Another ways to Say Goodbye" . I will be reading each example twice ( for pronunciation purpose ) then give example sentence each, unlocking vocabulary and phrases. Next, proper lesson, the application of 4 macro skills and I'll make sure it is 80% SST (student talking time) and 20% TTT (teacher talking time). Now, it is time for free flowing discussion ( error correction, pronunciation and exchanging ideas based on the topic. Lastly, open discussion (queries and clarifications) . The very next day go over yesterday's lesson a few to mention and essential .
I have been teaching ESL to Asian and European students (mostly Adults) I teach IELTS, General English and TOEIC. As a teacher, my students' comprehension and learning are my utmost priority at the end of the day. They are like reflection to me on how good and effective I am. I only teach what i know and i always put my shoes on them. So, overall my class is interactive, cosy, and fun yet quality.
