Korean Language and Studies Tutor, University of Oxford Graduate and Korean History Specialist

I will soon begin a PhD in Korean Studies at SOAS University of London. I have a masters degree in Korean Studies from the University of Oxford and an undergraduate degree in Korean from SOAS. I specialise in premodern Korean History. I have additional Language training form the Language School at Korea University and advanced academic Korean language training from Sungkyunkwan University. Additionally, I have acheived TOPIK Level 5.

I am passionate about tailoring my tutoring to fit the needs and interests of my students. Whether they wish to learn Korean as a hobby, to prepare for a trip, undertake the TOPIK exam or even understand their favourite Kdrama or Kpop Idol. I am committed to giving my students enjoyable but informative tutoring to help them achieve their language learning goals. I am also offering tutoring on Korean Studies including History, Politics and Culture, as well as Classical Chinese (Hanja and Hanmun) for those looking to boost their Korean Language abilities.

I have experience tutoring friends who have been interested in Korean culture, and I am looking to gain professional experience tutoring.
