English Lan & English Lite qualifications and Diploma in Acting. Professional Actor

I have 7 'O' levels and 2 'A' Levels plus a 3 year Diploma in Acting. I have been an actor for nearly 35 years. I currently invigilate exams for BPP University. The students are all foreign and so it is vital that I am able to communicate with them.
Teaching foreign students English depends on how much of the language they are familiar with. For those who are not familiar with English I would begin withbasic sentence structure, word oder and verb tenses. It is best to use simple vocubulary at first. Once the students have understood the basics we can then progress to the more complex rules of grammar.
I would be particularly interested in dealing with spoken English to enable the student to feel confident in communicating.
