I have been working in tutoring since I was 15 and enjoyed every minute of it. My favourite mathematics topics are algebra and trigonometry, I love a good challenge.usually I like to follow what the young person has been doing in school and build on the knowledge of each topic as well go along. Or if they prefer they can bring a topic (any topic they feel they are struggling in or something they enjoy to raise that confidence) to the session that we can work on. I believe not everyone finds maths easy but there will be one subtopic of maths that each child will prefer it’s just finding that to help find their general understanding. Whether they love maths or dislike it there’s always a way to enable they to grasp a better understanding and I am so passionate in helping with that. My approach to tutoring is very casual, more of a friendly vibe than a teacher one as I work to engage young people rather than to bore them out of the subject. I believe you need to have a good relationship to really build skills and have that trust. Every student has the potential to be great it just takes a good teacher to make them realise that potential. I really hope to make a difference in someone’s life like I’ve had from many teachers myself. I wish everyone the very best in these trying times, and hope you’re all living to best you can :)
