From a young age, I’ve loved helping others learn—whether it was tutoring classmates just before secondary school or supporting university students today. Teaching has always come naturally to me, and I’ve carried that passion throughout my life. I truly believe education is not just a tool for progress, but also a foundation for confidence, wellbeing, and personal growth. If I can help someone find joy in learning—even just a little—I’ll always do my best to make that happen. With over six years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students from ages 11 to over 60, each with unique goals—whether that’s preparing for GCSEs and A Levels, brushing up for travel in Spanish-speaking countries, becoming conversational, or simply setting new personal challenges. I specialise in Spanish tuition for the AQA exam board, but I also have experience supporting students taking Edexcel. I take the time to understand exactly how each student is assessed so I can tailor my approach accordingly. I’ve supported learners with a wide range of needs, including those with autism and dyslexia, and I pride myself on creating a welcoming, flexible, and empowering environment for everyone, regardless of their starting point. Every student learns differently, and my role is to find the way that works best for them. Whether that means using flashcards, conversation practice, visual aids, structured grammar work, cultural context, or games, I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style, pace, and personality. I focus on the "4 pillars of language" structure—listening, reading, writing, and speaking—interlinking these areas to develop comprehensive competencies. I use progress reviews to track achievements, refine goals, and ensure consistent growth. Constructive feedback is encouraged, as I’m committed to personalising the learning experience based on each student's needs and preferences. Ultimately, my goal is not just to teach Spanish but to make learning feel personal, achievable, and enjoyable.
