English tutor for students of all ages and abilities

Hello ! I am a tutor based in Swansea, South Wales.

I have been tutoring for 2 years online, and prior to that I have been an ESL teacher for 5 years in Korea.

I have been teaching broad range of subjects and students, ESL whilst in Korea, and with Gostudent it has been with KS2, KS3 and GCSE students, teaching english, maths,science and history. I have had a really good experience with the platform and have been delighted to work with my students, motivaying them and seeing them progress.

I am really keen to help any student who wants to learn, even if they have been struggling with school and need a bit of confidenece.

My degree was in Media and Modern Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London, but before that I obtained an A in English Literature and a B in Ancient History at A level. At GCSE I got an A star in Media Studies and an A in Double Science, as well as a B in History, which has helped me when I have been teaching these subjects too.

I do enjoy gaming and watching films and series in my spare time. Also I like rugby, football, and physical activity generwally and have a black belt in Tang Soo Do (a Korean martial art).

I also enjoy studying languages, I can speak Portuguese and am currently learning Korean and have got up to an intermediate level. Continually studying a second language myself gives me a reminder to a students point of view and how best to help them with any difficulties they may have.
