I am currently a Psychology Student at the University of Cambridge, hoping to pursue a career in clinical psychology.

My teaching approach is centered on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs. I would begin by assessing the learner's current knowledge, learning style, and specific needs. This helps in customising the teaching approach to ensure it is effective. Next, I would set clear, achievable objectives for each session. This provides direction and helps track progress. Using interactive methods is key to keep learners engaged. This includes discussions, Q&A sessions, and hands-on activities, which promote active participation and deeper understanding.Further, incorporating a mix of teaching methods such as visual aids, real-world examples, practical exercises, and technology tools. This caters to different learning styles and keeps the sessions dynamic. Further, continuous feedback is vital where I would provide regular, constructive feedback to help learners improve. Encourage questions and address any difficulties promptly to ensure continuous progress. Importantly, encouragement and support is key as fostering a positive learning environment allows learners tp feel comfortable and motivated. Celebrating achievements, however small, is key to build confidence. Finally, regularly reviewing the teaching plan and adapt it based on feedback and progress. This ensures the teaching approach remains effective and relevant to the learner’s evolving needs.
