I am aware that each student learns differently - some by listening, some by reading, and some by doing. I like to ask each student how they learn best and use this to form my lessons. Oftentimes, I will create scenario questions for my law students and go through each aspect with them, providing prompts rather than giving them the answers when they are unsure. When it comes to English, I make use of classic literature to help with narrative storytelling - I have had lessons in which I remove all adjectives and verbs from a piece of text and have my students come up with their own creative words to fill in these gaps.
