Maths tutoring for KS 2. Help with Maths homework for children that are struggling to find methods that work for them

I would love to teach Maths to younger pupils. I was entered into the Highers Papers and attained Grade C for my GCSE although I was already working from A level work books as I had covered and understood all the GCSE work already. I was predicted to obtain a B or an A but unfortunately it did not work out that way.
I would like to redo a Maths qualification at some point in the future but in the mean time I would love to help children find methods that work for them in figuring out how to get the right answers to their Maths problems. I also accept children that may show challenging behaviour as I have experience with this first hand from working in a children's home for 3.5 years.
