I see the creative in everything and think being creative goes beyond 'art'. My lessons aim to challenge ways of thinking.

I will give students the tools to think beyond what they know and make connects to all aspects of the world, whether that is politics, science or history, the creative subjects are more than just being pretty. They allow us to challenge and question. Through art and other creative forms, their other interests and ambitions can be supported and explored. You don't have to want to be an artist to be creative, you just need to be open and want to question. I teach a lot through provoking these thoughts and getting them to look at something a different way or on a deeper level. They can then take this and apply that to other things, even outside of the subject. I aim to unlock ideas rather than regurgitate them. I also angle it as a tool for the future as not everyone wants to have a creative career, but the things they learn are still valuable in life.
