Maths and science GCSE and physics A-level tutor with Gramma experience

As an experienced teacher I will tailor each session to the needs of the student(s). I am comfortable tutoring individuals or small groups, in person or online.
I have experience teaching all sciences and maths at GCSE level, as well as Physics A-level. Using this experience, I would adapt the scheme of work for the student's exam board to focus on the areas most needed.
Each lesson will be structured similarly to a class, with a recap of previous work and homework, an introduction to the topics to be covered in this session and how it fits into the schema, and then a series of concise explanations and guided excercises to develop and embed skills. The session would culminate with a review summary and exercise, and a homework practice for some sessions.

The level of challenge would be flexed to accommodate the student's ability, but there would also be some 'challenge' tasks designed to push the student. Every one or two tasks will be separated by an appropriate break of 5-10 minutes. Finally, every few sessions, exam-board style mini-tests would help the student to practise exam techniques and track their own progress.
